Dream Winner's Songs

Out of the seven members of the Rap Tech Institute intercessory ministry, God chose four (one male and three females) as singers and make up Rap Tech Institute-Dream Winner’s choir, but the whole group of seven is involved in all choir activates. The choir has produced Rungankole Gospel song and some songs in English and will soon produce songs in Kiswahiri and in Luganda. Each song has a testimony behind it as their writers have explained below. The songs are downloadable for free from this website since our goal is to serve our Lord Jesus with all our hearts; we believe by availing our songs to people we are serving our Lord Jesus

This is the order of how the songs were written. The song writers explain why they wrote the songs, how they came up with the songs and what the songs teach the people

Our Ninth song

Song Tittle: Eshagama ya Yesu

Song Writer: Aijuka Rodgers

Lead Voice: Aijuka Rodgers

Aijuka Rodgers writes: One time our sister Emily was giving thanks to God hear at Rap Tech Institute-Dream Winners’ Chapel. I was chosen to be the preacher of the day. That Sunday morning as I was preparing the sermon, God revealed to me that I became a child of Jesus Christ because I believed in the "Blood of Jesus Christ". I realised that it was not because I would go to church every Sunday; or because of not breaking the ten commandments of God. I realized that working for your church, or a pillar in church or even wedding in church cannot make you a Child of Christ. I realized that it was because I believed in the blood of Jesus Christ (Eshagama ya Yesu) that He made me His child. And because of that Jesus anointed me (I received the Holy Spirit) who gave me different spiritual gifts.

Before I had finished preparing the sermon, the song “Eshagama ya Yesu” had already come to my mind which I wrote and sung during the sermon. I realized that it was going to be a fast song and asked my sister Abias to practice it and lead it during the audio production time. I did not know that God wanted me to lead the song. After some time before audio production was done, God gave me a vision and I saw myself on stage presenting the song “Eshagama ya Yesu” before a very large congregation. I saw people dancing it and after words I saw myself preaching to the group about the song. God was telling me to lead the song in production and that it was going to touch the lives of many people and indeed, the Enshagama ya Yesu song has become one of our songs that have changed the lives of many people who listen to our songs.

Brethren believe that the blood of Jesus has power to cleanse all your sins and you will never be the same again

Song Tittle: Orimukuru Mukama

Song Writer: Aijuka Rodgers

Lead Voice: Aijuka Rodgers

Aijuka Rodgers writes: This is my testimony. The chorus “Orimukuru Mukama” means; Lord Jesus you are very great/very important/very powerful/very high/very important

Verses: 1. You gave away your life that if I believe in you, all my sins would be forgiven. 2. Now that I have accepted you, you have given me peace; let me sing for you because you are very great. 3. I was always troubled, I had no peace but when you came to my life I got peace. 4. Whenever I would be down with malaria I would rush to the clinic but since I got to understand your power I pray and you heal me. 5. I didn’t know what I was, but when I accepted you, you told me that I am a blessed person. 6. I used to fear rumors from people who would tell wrong stories about me but because of the training you took me through, I am now hard like a stone. 7. I used to fear the devil’s spirits and ghosts, but now when I mention your name Jesus they all run away. 8. People leave me alone to serve Him, that Jesus that saved me, there is no greater thing than Him, I have found him powerful.

I want to emphasis this because God has done it for me. No disease, whether cough, or malaria can today take me to the hospital/clinic. I pray and God heals me. This does not mean that I do not fall sick. When I realize that I have malaria, I kneel down and pray and the following day am healed. In our lord Jesus there is healing. How great is my Lord who saved me all the medical bills, the tablets, the painful treatment. One time I was thanking God for giving me that faith of praying and he heals me and he told me that “That is a special Gift I gave you”. The devil heard it and the following day I was very much sick with powerful malaria that I had never had before. I prayed and God healed me in one-two days

Our Eighth Song

Aijuka Rodgers writes: Ooo God is good. A day after writing My destiny song, Emily told us that we need to write a song that talks about Rap Tech Institute-Dream Winners' group. I asked her to write it. She wrote a song that I did not like especially because it was praising me the Institute director. I told her that we need to write a song that praises our Lord Jesus. I went to bed as usual at night and at 6:00am in the morning while I was still in the bed, the song came to my mind which I started singing and I immediately went to the seating room and by 6:30am I had finished writing the song.

We are very much proud of this song because it is like our anthem, it talks about our dream of being with our Lord Jesus in eternity and we believe that our friend Jesus will lead us through the long journey of this world and receive us in heaven. It talks about our goal, and about the goodness of Jesus especially because of accepting to die for us sinners and that whoever will believe in His blood will have his sins forgiven and cleansed. Jesus took away all the shame, all the punishment and today because of His blood, we are not guilty and we are not condemned. In Him, there is healing, there is God’s blessings and there is everything. Glory be to our Lord Jesus Christ

Our Seventh Song

Song Tittle: Our Dream

Song Writer: Aijuka Rodgers

Lead Voice: Aijuka Rodgers

Aijuka Rodgers writes: Whenever I think of this song I give great thanks to Jesus Christ who opened my door to heaven and made me His child after cleansing all my sins. It’s amazing. It was because of this song that I realized that God had given me a gift of singing. It was during a week when Abias and Emily were being trained how to play a keyboard, I asked the one that was training them also to train them how to sing different voices since we were waiting for a music audio producer that was going to come to our institute studio and produce our first album. I did not know that I was good at singing and had not planned to produce the songs with my three sisters. As they were learning the voices, I felt tied and went home to rest on my bed and as I was sleeping I heard a voice that said; “Ekyeshongoro ni My Destiny” in English that “The song is My Destiny” I immediately wake up and looked for the person that talked to me but could not find any and realized that it was God who had talked to me. I immediately came and told my sisters. I prayed and God helped me write this song that I love very much; My Destiny. The following day as I was teaching them the song, the one that was training us told me that I have a wonderful voice. I asked him, “So I can also sing?” And he said “Why not, you have a very good voice, go on and sing” we practiced it and when I went to the microphone it was as if the once quit man had spent years singing.

Aijuka Rodgers writes: I wrote this song after preaching at Rap Tech Institute-Dream Winners' Chapel. This was after I had accepted Jesus Christ as my savior, and Jesus was empowering me spiritually like how he has always done to His children. Then He gave me a message from the Bible in the Book of Ephesians 6:10-20. The message is titled “Wear the Full Armor of God.” God used me to preach to institute students on a Sunday and I realized that a borne again Christian needs to have great faith which will help him/her stop all the burning arrows that come from the evil one. One also needs to always speak the truth and be true to him/herself which will help one overcome the tests of the devil. I also realized that one needs to always feed him/herself with the Word of God by reading the bible and get the Word which when used will destroy the power of the enemy. We also have to use the key of prayer that will open the heavenly treasures, and we should also use prayer to ask for anything we need from God, but we must believe that nothing is impossible with our God

Great thanks to my sisters in Christ who worked very hard and came up with beautiful voices for the song that is loved by very many people

Our Fourth Song

Song Tittle: Ekijwaro kya Kyamukama

Song Writer: Aijuka Rodgers

Lead Voice: Emily & Abias

Listen to the song>

Natumanya Emily writes: It was a very big struggle that I went through but God was with me. The devil wanted not only kill me but also kill my family members. Once, a person put poison in our food at home but because of God’s mercy, we realized it before eating the food. People used witchcraft and really wanted to kill us but God was and is still with us.

During my first year at Rap Tech Institute, I received Jesus Christ as my personal savior. This opened the door for my mother and my sister’s salvation. Jesus Christ fought the battle for us and now in Him we are winners. He has chosen me and my sister to serve Him and with His help we will serve Him for the rest of our lives.

I prayed to God to forgive all our enemies, and God gave me this song “Obasasire” to teach you who have read this. Before you ask God to fight your battles, first forgive all your enemies. God does not work with unforgiving hearts.

Our Third Song

Song Tittle: Obasasire

Song Writer: Natumanya Emily

Natumanya Emily writes: God help us to know you more!! One time while still a student at Rap Tech Institute, I was seated on my bed and I heard the news on radio that a man raped his 14 year old girl. To me it was a very big shame. This opened my mind to think about what is going on in this world and made me humble myself and pray to the almighty God so that He can help us know how to live in this world of sin. This made me write this song

Brothers and sisters, let us keep praying to God and our Lord Jesus will help us manage this world. Our Lord is powerful and merciful and will see us through. And to our parents and elders, respect yourselves and we will respect you but without Jesus Christ, the devil can use you to do something that will surprise others and you will not even believe what the devil will use you to do.

Our Second Song

Song Tittle: Otweyorekye

Song Writer: Natumanya Emily

Lead Voice: Natumanaya Emily

Aijuka Rodgers writes: After receiving Jesus Christ in my life. I started a habit of praying many times in a day, I started waking up at 3:00am in the morning to read the bible and to pray. I could go to other people who were mature spiritually than I was to be prayed for. One night when I was up for my 3:00am prayers, God gave me a message and said that from that day He gave me power to pray for myself and for other people. He told me that it was not necessary for me to go to other people to be prayed for, and that I should start praying for myself and others. The following night again when I was up for my prayers, God gave me a message that I should be ready to perform my first miracle. God had given me a spiritual gift of healing. The following day, God brought a girl who was a student at the Institute who I prayed for and was completely healed. One of those days I was with a friend in car and a young girl asked for a lift, as she was going to sit in the car I realized that she had a walking stick and on asking her, she told us that she was unable to use one of her legs unsupported. I promised to pray for her and I exchanged phone contacts with her. I prayed for her and after a period of two weeks, she told me on phone that she was healed and was even able to run. Her sister called me and thanked me. I realized that you can pray for someone and God heals him/her even when one is on a distant place. I had also overcome a very big business test where I was persecuted by enemies but because of the great faith in my Lord Jesus I overcame them all.

It was from this background that I decided to write this song “Okwikiriza”. Which says that “Waba oine okwikiriza, tihine ebingonzi byensi ebirikukusingura” and in English it means that “if you have enough faith, there is no waves/troubles of the world that can win you”

Great thanks to Miss Ninsima Abias who led us in singing the song

Our First Song
